The rulebook

Every rule Dixpliner can enforce,
and exactly what each one does.

21 rules, grouped by when they act. Each one is something you set yourself. Defaults show where a fresh plan starts; “core” rules are always part of the plan, “optional” ones are off until you switch them on.

01Gates

Nine rules that can refuse an order.

Checked in this order, before the order is sized. The first one that fails stops it.

Session hours

CORE

Orders are accepted only between your start and end time. Outside the window the ticket is refused and shows your session.

22:41 · session 08:00–17:00 → blocked

Default: 08:00 – 17:00

Daily loss limit

CORE

Your budget for the day, as a percentage of balance or a fixed cash amount. Closed losses, the risk on open positions and the risk of the new order are added up. Over the limit, no order. A green day uses none of the budget.

closed −2.1% + open 1.0% + new 1.0% = 4.1% > 3% → blocked

Default: 5% of balance

Max trades per day

CORE

Hard cap on orders placed per calendar day. Wins count the same as losses.

trade #6 · limit 5 → blocked

Default: 5 trades

Max open positions

CORE

Cap on positions still at risk. A position whose stop is at or beyond entry is not counted, so breakeven earns room.

3 at risk · limit 3 → blocked until one hits breakeven

Default: 3 positions

Candle confirmation

OPTIONAL

Entries allowed only in the first 20% of the current candle on your chosen timeframe, from M1 to D1. Stops late, chasing entries.

M15 · 68% into the candle → wait 4m 48s

Default: Off · M15 when on

Daily profit target

OPTIONAL

Once closed P&L for the day reaches this percentage of balance, trading stops for the day. Copied trades on alias accounts stop too.

+2.4% closed · target 2% → day over

Default: Off

Weekly profit target

OPTIONAL

Same as the daily target, measured from Monday 00:00 UTC. Trading stops for the rest of the week.

+6.1% this week · target 6% → week over

Default: Off

Allowed instruments

CORE

The list of instruments you trade. Only these are offered on the ticket, so the pair “that was moving” is not an option.

EURUSD, GBPUSD, XAUUSD

Default: Set at onboarding

Entry checklist

OPTIONAL

Items you write yourself, each marked required or optional. Every required item must be ticked before the ticket will submit.

“Higher-timeframe bias confirmed” · “Stop behind structure”

Default: Empty

02Sizing

Two rules that shape the order.

You never type a lot size or a take-profit. Both come from here.

Risk per trade

CORE

A percentage of balance or a fixed amount. Lot size is computed from it and the stop distance using the broker’s contract specifications for the symbol.

$10 000 · 1% · 35-pip stop on EURUSD → 0.28 lots

Default: 1% of balance

Risk-to-reward target

CORE

The take-profit is placed at this multiple of the stop distance from entry.

35-pip stop · 1:2 → 70-pip target

Default: 1 : 2

03After entry

Three rules that manage the open position.

These run on positions Dixpliner placed, without you.

Auto-breakeven

CORE

When price has covered this share of the distance to the target, the stop moves to entry. The position then stops counting toward max open positions.

target 70 pips · level 50% → stop to entry at +35 pips

Default: 50% of the way to target

Pending order timeout

OPTIONAL

Pending orders older than this many minutes are cancelled automatically.

limit order placed 09:10 · timeout 30 min → cancelled 09:40

Default: Off

Stop and target edit guard

CORE

Moving a stop is allowed only if the worst-case daily P&L across all open positions stays inside the daily loss limit. After a profit target is reached, only edits that reduce risk or secure profit go through.

widen SL → worst case −4.2% > limit −3% → rejected

Default: Always on

04Around the account

Seven rules that protect the plan itself.

These are what make going around Dixpliner cost more than following it.

Settings window

CORE

The plan is editable only on weekends (UTC) and between 21:00 and 22:00 GMT on weekdays. Every other hour it is read-only. Also governs score resets and the 2FA vault.

Tue 11:37 · raise daily loss to 5% → “weekday locked”

Default: Always on

Discipline monitor

OPTIONAL

Positions opened outside Dixpliner are closed automatically and logged. A weekly history sweep catches trades that opened and closed between scans. Manual stop or target edits at the broker count too. Your score starts at 100 and loses 10 per violation; it can be reset only in the settings window.

external BUY XAUUSD detected → closed · score 100 → 90

Default: Off · enable in Settings

External-trade lock

CORE

One trade placed at the broker instead of through Dixpliner freezes the account for a week. A second one during the lock extends it. Open positions can still be managed and closed.

external trade Mon 14:20 → no new orders until next Mon 14:20

Default: 7 days

Payout pause

OPTIONAL

Freeze new trades on an account until a date you choose, with an optional reminder shown while it is paused. Built for the days before a prop-firm payout.

paused until 03 Oct · “Do not touch before payout”

Default: Off

Manual pause

OPTIONAL

Pause an account for the rest of the day, or until a date, when you know you should not be trading. Existing positions can still be managed.

paused · new trades resume tomorrow

Default: Off

Broker 2FA vault

OPTIONAL

Store your broker or prop-firm authenticator seed in Dixpliner, encrypted. The login code is shown only during the settings window, so mid-week you cannot log into the broker terminal to trade around the plan. First-time setup is allowed at any time.

Wed 10:05 · request code → “next available Wed 21:00 GMT”

Default: Off

Dedicated instance

CORE

Each MT5 account runs in its own container on its own server with its own IP. cTrader accounts connect through the official Open API. Nothing is shared with another trader.

prop firm: one IP per trader → compliant

Default: Always on

05Prop-firm caps

The firm’s limits, recorded on the account.

For accounts marked Challenge or Funded you also record the firm’s maximum drawdown, daily loss and risk per trade. They sit on the account as caps, next to your own plan, so the plan can be set tighter than the firm and you always know the distance to both.
